Thanksgiving and stuff
Nov. 21st, 2006 06:39 pmNot much is going on right now. Daytona is growing cold, and still, getting ready to hybernate for the winter. Soon I believe I'll have the beach practically to myself as I walk to work. Today a chilly, delicious wind pushed me back, and made my cheeks feel icey. I'm going to have to find a thick hoody to wear for my walks as it gets colder. Maybe a reason to finally buy one of those premium hoodies at Hot Topic. It's time to buy some long sleeved shirts for Brian as well. Since he's lost weight, he's ingrown most of his cloths. (Rather than outgrown)
Our plans for Thanksgiving involve a lot of catching up with the fiftythoudand episodes of Heroes we have saved on the DVR. On Saturday we're going to be doing our cooking and feasting. We hope to have friends swing by. If not though, more ham for us! We have to take Rini to work at 3:00 am on Friday morning. Holy crap, yo! Then Brian and I plan to go to Waffle House, or Steak and Shake, and just bide some time until things open up. We plan to do a little of that Black Friday adventure, then skitter back home to hide.
*sigh* I have to find a dentist soon. My tooth is getting to the no longer wanting to wait point. I'm going to start seeking a female dentist. I do have a bias. Women are just less threatening to me in positions of power, and women are normally raised under the conditions of being nurturers, and co-operators. I'm not saying men can't be all those things. But I get nervous enough just meeting new people under social circumstances.
