Ernesto held me down, and made me create a City of Heros character. No, I will not be playing. He just wanted me to make a character. I made a version of myself. Notice my long time companda on my shoulder.

Fun behind the cut. )

I have been wanting to do a post on this artist for awhile...But I had forgotten his name. Luckily for me, I found it.

Afew months ago my husband and I went with my brother in law Julius to a smallish art museum in Columbus, Georgia. I enjoy museums, and so wandering around the quiet galleries was fun to me. There was alot of really amazing stuff, but what caught my eye, and made me fall in love was this:

I think I fell in love. The small image on your screen just doesn't do the painting justice. It's a large panting, the figures in the piece are just alittle larger than real life. There was no ropes, and no sort of plexi screen between myself and the painting. I could get close, holding my breath, and look at each lush brushstroke. Assael is brilliant. He paints like an old time Master. His subjects are close to him, and he obviously loves them. He doesn't try to make them something they are not. He just paints the light as it falls on them, like Vermeer. And the play of light and shadows is beautiful. And golden.

Please go check him out. You can find more works by putting his name in Google, and doing an image search.

I really like this artist. He not only paints, he does digital animation, and he's a poet. I suggest everyone to go take a look.

We all write our own life stories,
we're also a part of others life stories,
emmotions can't be controlled,
so as our destiny and our faith,
a knight can never be prince,
a prince will never be a knight,
heartbeats is the only TRUE time in life,
it starts at birth,
it stops til our last breath,
we all should live our life the fullest,
let yourself be the master and not the servant,
cherrish all that you have right now,
so in the end....
we live -Forever with No Regrets..
