Fucking Hurricane: Pt 2

teagueWell by now probably most of you know Hurricane Francis is heading our way. This time it's set to splat our coast first, then go up after South and North Carolina because apperently Posiden hates the Carolinas. (Fuck you Myrtle Beach!) I got a call from the landlord, Sam, stating that he has lumber to board up the windows. Brian is seeking safe harbor for me and the kitties. Might have to go to a hotel. Oi...4 cats trapped in a hotel room. I'm really hoping it peters out over Cuba. Not that I want Cuba to suffer either, but that's where it is. I don't want to leave, and go to a hotel. We really can't afford it right now.
Some good news is that I got hired by the local Sears Portrait Studio. They pay more, and I'm hoping for more hours too. And it's closer to my avocation. I'm not sure if I will like it, because I don't always like portraiture, but in a choice between a sucky job doing nothing I like, and a sucky job doing something I like...Well, you get the point.
Wish me luck on both fronts.
