The cable modem at home is being all useless, which means spotty internet at best. This bums me out because I have a friend I miss who'll be on tonight. It'll be fixed tomorrow though.
It is hot, and I hate it. About this time of year I always get a touch of depression. Nothing so major I have to medicate it. More like the blues. A large part of it is feeling trapped indoors. I'm too fair skinned for the sun, and no one likes it this hot. It's ungodly. I swear I saw a pidgeon melting onto a power line while waiting on the bus today.
We got a new General Manager today. It was very sudden. Joe got placed over at a bigger hotel, a promotion, in essence, and we have someone that used to work at a smaller hotel, so a promotion for him. I can't remember his name. Something like Mihir? I hope he's an ok dude. If not, I'll just follow Joe.
