Last night Brian and I had the cherry on the cake that was this Holiday season. We went to see the Cirque du Soleil show, La Nouba, that plays at Downtown Disney nightly. We got to do this, thanks to the generosity of a guest of the hotel that I am not sure I even met. They left their tickets for someone to use. 112 dollar tickets. I'm not certain of the reason they didn't use them. Family emergency perhaps. All I can say is that they decided to let someone enjoy the tickets, rather than squashing them, and those someones were Brian and I. They were sitting in the drawer, and I yoinked them the moment I heard they were up for grabs.
La Nouba was beautiful. I couldn't tell you the plot. Apparently every show has a plot, but it's really...hard to follow.I find it easier to just sit back, and watch the amazing pretty. Watching a Cirque show is like watching a constantly moving surreal painting that's painted right in front of you. And once again I got to drewl over the guy that does the suspended contortion thing in the curtains. If you saw it, you'd know.
Also, my intrest in clowning is renewed. Scary.
