There is a pristine and beautiful copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in the room.....

Would it be terribly rude of me to begin reading it befor Brian, since it's his birthday present?

Heehee! I've done that before. As long as you don't open the book up all the way (ei. flat open on a table), they'll never know..

I need to get back into the series. I listened to it on audiobook up until The Goblet of Fire, but haven't read the next two. The audiobooks were fabulous, the reader sounded EXACTLY like Dumbledor from the movies. I mean, spot on. It made the experience so perfect.
