Well if it helps, it wasn't a *perfect* movie, but so few are. I appreciated that it was notibly different from the other Batman movies. in fact, what annoyed me most was those moments when it *did* seem too much like the others. And I tend to agree with my co-watcher, blowdry Katie Holmes did not phone it in. She's very cute, but she lacks sex appeal. I could more easily see her as Bruce Wayne's gal pal, than girlfriend. I was facinated, however, with the guy playing the Scarecrow/Dr. Crane. He was a strange combo of delicate and dangerous that appealed to me. Like a spider. He was a good villain.
