Update: Brian's Grandmother
Jun. 5th, 2008 02:25 pmThey've moved her back to the nursing home, and Hospice has been called in to make her comfortable. Now there is just waiting. The family is together and prepared.
Last night we stayed in a substandard hotel. We didn't have to talk Roachzilla into leaving, but I did have to buy a bottle of bleach and a sprayer to take care of the tub and shower curtain. The TV got HBO but the local channels were snowy and ghosted. Weird. And the pool was cloudy and not so good. There was a cat, apparently owned, wearing a collar, who was blind in one eye, hanging out under the ice machine all day. Seriously. I could hear banjos.
Today Brian moved us to a Holiday Inn in Columbus with better amenities and civilization. I has internets, and the pool is clean and happy. The Mancub is off playing in that right now. I'm off to take a nap.
